What we collect
Aurowa has no accounts and never asks for your name, email, contacts, photos, or location. Like most free games it uses Google services: AdMob for ads (advertising ID, device information, IP address, ad interactions), Firebase Analytics for usage events, device model, OS and app version, and approximate country, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, and a Firebase installation ID for game settings (Remote Config) and abuse protection (App Check). You can turn analytics off in Settings, which also turns off crash reports. We never sell your personal data.
Where your progress lives
Your levels, stars, coins, hints, unlocked items, and settings are saved on your phone. If you have a Google Play Games profile, a copy of your save and your achievements are kept in your Play Games account so your progress follows you to a new phone. We cannot see that copy, and the game works the same without it. The optional daily reminder is scheduled on your phone.
Ads and your choices
Ads appear between levels and as optional reward videos, never during a puzzle. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we ask for consent on first launch; if you decline, you get non-personalised ads. You can change your choice any time in Settings › Ad privacy options. Buying Remove Ads turns off ads between levels.
Purchases
When you buy something, Google Play Billing and our purchase-check service (Firebase Cloud Functions and Firestore, protected by Play Integrity) confirm it is genuine and grant it exactly once. We keep a one-way hash of the purchase token, the order and product IDs, and when it was checked, for 3 years for fraud prevention and accounting.
Deleting your data
Use Settings › Reset progress or uninstall the app to clear your progress. Delete your cloud save and achievements in the Google Play Games app. Turn off analytics in Settings, and reset your advertising ID in Android settings. For purchase records, email us your Google Play order ID (it starts with GPA.). We reply within 30 days.
Children
Aurowa is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how the app uses data, we will update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
